Final Project
For my final project I decided to do a drawing of a flower using a variety of shading and value. I decided to do a flower because, I like flowers and I haven't done a drawing yet. I think this project turned out really good and overall I am very proud of it. I would definitely do more drawings in the future.
Plaster sculpture
For this project we had to create an abstract sculpture. We carved out the plaster to make our object. I decided to make a swan bc I like swans and I think it could have looked like more than what it was. This project was not my favorite only because the plaster was so hard to carve and it was very messy. Over all I think I would not do plaster ever again.
Portrait
For this project I decided to do my boyfriend Noah. In this project I will be using a variety of shading techniques, I will be drawing the parts of the face and hair in very specific details.
Final project
For my final project I decided to do watercolor because I really enjoy doing it. My subject was a pineapple. I really enjoyed doing this project and I will definitely do more watercolor paintings in the future.
Water Color
For this project I used water colors to create my painting. I decided to do a rose in a vase on top of a table because I think roses symbolize love and that was my inside message for my painting. Love is strong but fragile like a rose. I really loved doing this type of art. I will do more of these paintings in the future.
Print making Project
This project is technique used to print a design on paper. This project was inspired by Elizabeth Catlett. For this project we used gouges to create the design in the linoleum block, then used printing ink and a barren to successfully print the design on the paper.
